Candle Care
Never leave your burning candle unattended.
Trim your wick 4/5mm before lighting your candle each time, this keeps the candle from smoking and producing a large flame, which may lead to soot around your jar.
When you light your candle for the first time, allow it to reach its full melt pool, approx. 3-4 hours.
This will set the candles memory & avoid tunnelling. It will also prolong the burn time of your candle.
Keep the lid on your candles when you aren't using them, this will keep the candle scent from evaporating and last longer.
It is recommended that candles do not burn for longer than four hours and cool for at least two hours before relighting.
BURN ON HEAT RESISTANT SURFACE
Trim your wick before every useIf you want the best results for your candle, having a short wick keeps your flame lower and closer to the wax, which is where you want it.
This is also a safety precaution because a tall flame can over heat the glass causing it to break or make your jar all black and sooty.
Only burn for 3-4 hours at a time. This is so your jar doesn't over heat, which could cause the glass to break. In 3-4 hours the scent should fill space nicely. The hotter the wax is, the more fragrance oil it will use.
It’s no secret that, as humans, our sense of smell is inextricably linked to our centers of emotion, nostalgia and wellness. Thus, every aroma designed at Wilde Willow Candle Co is inspired by moving experiences, from childhood memories to travel with loved ones.
